Between Amsterdam, Hilversum and Utrecht
Pancakes in the Vecht region
The Vecht region is made for travelling through: on foot, by bike or over the water. We sit in the middle of it, in Vreeland.
The Vecht runs from Utrecht to the Zuiderzee, past country estates, mills and tea houses. Vreeland lies halfway, and Hendrik is in Vreeland.
We are where the journey pauses: the terrace is large and sheltered, there is bicycle parking and a charging point for an e-bike, and you can moor free of charge on the bank of the Vecht for 24 hours.
And if the weather turns, the wood stove is burning inside.
