The Ruysdaelstraat sits exactly on the border of De Pijp and Oud-Zuid. If you live in De Pijp you can walk here in a few minutes.
De Pijp has plenty of brunch places. What it did not have is an old-fashioned pancake house where you can sit down with the whole family, the neighbours or the sports team without it having to be an occasion.
Here a pancake is simply a pancake: baked by hand, from heritage flour, with bacon and cheese or with syrup and sugar. Alongside it there is a full menu, from toastie to steak, and a bar menu from three in the afternoon.
The restaurant has two rooms that can be closed off from one another, so a group can sit here in peace.
